Guestbook

  1. Joe was my first cousin. He was three years older than I.
He was really good to our grandmother, Harriott Holmes Jerdone, and she loved him dearly.
He helped her feed and water her chickens, and they spent many happy afternoons playing cards, and board games together.
Joe walked me to school when I was in the second grade. I had no brothers, so he was my hero. He taught me that boys could like girls, which was news to me.
Joe had a sharp mind and a beautiful smile, and he was always kind.

  2. I met Joe years ago while walking. My husband and I both admired him so much for his love and devotion to his handicapped daughter Linda. I learned later he was also in care of his bed bound wife. Joe and Linda were not fair weather walkers! They walked no matter what! I loved hearing his stories of his travels and life adventures 😀 He was a wonderful man that will always be remembered and missed by all.
