Judith Royston Beach
September 25, 1941 ~ March 14, 2022
Judith Royston Ledbetter Beach, 80, of Warrenton, VA, passed peacefully on March 14, 2022. Judy was predeceased by her parents Pearl and Doug Royston, her sister Sandra Royston and her husband Fred Ray Ledbetter. Judy is survived by her second husband Louis E. Beach (Gene), her children and their spouses Rob & Patrice Ledbetter, Mike & Elaine Ledbetter, Becky & Bob Handforth, her stepchildren Terry Carver, Renee Peters and Jimmy Beach. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren and nephew Steve Royston.
Judy was born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia, where she attended George Mason High School. After graduating High School, she went to work for the Federal Government, where she met & married her husband Fred. She was widowed at age 29, and moved to Vienna, VA, where she started working at Louise Archer Elementary in the Library. She was introduced to Gene Beach through good friends, and they were married in 1975. She then worked her way up in Louise Archer, to eventually retire in 2006 after 30 years as the Head Secretary. Judy and Gene sold the house in Vienna after her living there for 45 years and moved to Warrenton, VA, where Gene still lives.
Judy was involved in a lot of hobbies from painting, cross stitching, embroidery, to her favorite quilting. She was in several different Quilting Bees in the area and a member of the Vienna QU for many years.

Judy was a wonderful lady, always smiling, she was so happy being around the kids at Louise Archer. She will be missed. May she be @ rest. Student graduate from Loiuse Archer. Kristin Kelleher Stumpf
