Kathryn M. Forde-Cosby
June 23, 1942 ~ August 20, 2018
Kathryn Cosby, born in Devon, England on June 23, 1943, died in her home the evening of August 20 surrounded by her family and loved ones after a three year, hard fought battle with cancer.
She was a Vienna resident for over 40 years who was actively involved in her community, church and youth sports. After her son, Jonathan, passed suddenly in 2008, she set up a scholarship in his name through VYI and Gonzaga College High School.
She is remembered by those who knew her as an incredibly kind, elegant and graceful woman who had a smile for everyone.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, R. Taylor Cosby, her daughters, Susannah Griffiths, Annabel Olah, Carrington Cosby and Erin Plumb; Sons in law Giles Griffiths, David Olah and Marion Plumb, and her adoring grandchildren, Sebastian and Mae Grifiths, Maggie J Olah, and Grace and Emma Plumb. She is predeceased by her youngest child and son, Jonathan Forde.
A memorial service will be held at Vienna Presbyterian on Friday, September 14 at 1:30 pm.

My dear sweet friend Kathryn.How I will miss your beautiful smile uplifting spirit and our weekly luncheon get togethers .We would sit and talk non stop for three hours,discussing everything from fashion to politics.Even when you were not feeling great you always stayed uplifted .I feel so blessed to have had your friendship and will cherish the beautiful memories.My sweet friend May you Rest In Peace.
