Keith Damon was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He was raised in Mt.
Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
He received his undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In
addition, he received his PHD in Chemical Engineering from the University of
Wisconsin.
Upon graduation, Keith spent his career at Mobil, working in New York City and
Virginia corporate offices. Upon retirement, he became a teacher at Learning Tree
International, both locally and internationally in computer related subjects.
Keith was active in the Republican Party, serving on the State Central Committee of
the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV). He also served as the Election Support
Director of the Fairfax County Republican Committee. Additionally, he provided
detailed analysis on various subjects for the Republican Party.
Keith was active in various churches, serving as Sunday School teacher, Deacon,
and Chairman of the Business Committee.
Keith was a world traveler, having visited 147 countries and taught in Saudi Arabia.
He also enjoyed attending theatre, symphony, opera, and ballet performances.
Playing bridge was also one of his interests.
He married his wife Anne at Holy Trinity church in New York City. Initially, they
lived in Stamford and Rowayton, Connecticut. They settled in Fairfax, Virginia, in
1980.
Keith will be greatly missed by family, friends, and associates.
A memorial service will be held at Vienna Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May
11th, 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow immediately.
