On November 30 2016 in Chantilly Virginia, Ken passed away peacefully at home. Born in Washington DC on February 9, 1939, Ken was the youngest of six children. He was the son of Robert and Josephine Conlan. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Conlan and his sister, Catherine Carbone. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Hooven, Shirley Martinelli, and Virginia Beaver. He is the beloved husband and best friend of Sandra Conlan for 41 years and a dear father to Leigh Ann and Angela. He is the beloved grandfather of Krystle and Kristopher and great grandfather to Owen and Annabelle and uncle to loved nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was the Altar Boy of the Year, 1951 in the Washington Diocese and a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School, Class of 1957. Ken was a salesman with Shelby Business Forms, retiring in 1996. Retiring allowed him to fulfill a goal of playing golf in all 50 states. Ken loved traveling the world with his wife Sandy, completing two cross country trips and playing golf all over Europe. Late passions included American History and Coin Collecting.

Friends and Relatives are invited to gather on Sunday, December 4 2016 at Money & King Funeral Home at 171 West Maple Avenue, Vienna, Virginia from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy's Catholic Church at 13807 Poplar Tree Road, Chantilly Virginia on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be greatly appreciated to American Brain Foundation at www.americanbrainfoundation.org.
