Beloved wife of Nikolaos Ipiotis; mother of Miltiadis Marten Ipiotis and Dimitrios Erik Ipiotis; daughter of Gustav Olanders and Ingrid Jonsson; sister of Per Olof Olanders and Nil Olanders. She is also survived by her nephew Lars and niece Maria and their families. The family will receive friends at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1090 Sterling Rd., Herndon, VA on Wednesday, November 23 from 10 AM until time of services at 11:30 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes or St. Jude Children's Hospital. May Kristina’s family find peace during this painful time. I knew Kristina for only a short while, but I always enjoyed my time with her. I will miss Kristina’s enthusiasm and her laugh.

My condolences to Kristina’s family. I had the good fortune of working with her over the course of 2006-2007 and was just recently in touch again. Her enthusiasm and good character made her a pleasure to work with and my heart goes out to all her colleagues and friends.
