Kristina Jeannette Gerl, age 17, of Centreville, VA died on January 1, 2011 at her residence. Loving daughter of Mark and Julie Gerl and sister of Robert Patrick Gerl. She is also survived by her cherished grandparents, aunts, uncles, counsins and many friends.

Mark, Julie and Rob, I cannot say how very sorry and sad I feel for you about the loss of Kristina. She was an absolutely beautiful and and adorable girl. I keep a candle lit for her all the time and hope that God took her into his loving tender arms surrounded by many angels and placed her in a tender loving place. My daughter fondly remembers the stories and giggles they shared walking from P.E. to Theatre. I know my daughter missed Kristina’s friendship after she transferred schools.
