Mrs. Lee J. Vazquez, of Fairfax, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Fairfax Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Martin I. Vazquez; devoted mother of Nadine C. Vazquez and her husband, Jeff Waters; grandmother of Jeremy Martin Vazquez. She owned and operated Arlington Insulation from 1948 to 2006 and participated in Fairfax County Agricultural and Forrestal programs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pender Pet Caring Foundation, PO Box 222481, Chantilly, Va 20153.

Nadine, Jeff and Jeremy, Lee was one tough cookie and she intimidated me when we first began to work together. But there was a softie in with all that toughness. She was always kind to me and always asked about my “hounds” every time I saw her. My heart hurts with yours.
