Unfortunately we won’t be able to attend the viewing, but Kathy and I wanted to express our condolences. Lena and I worked together for 15 years in Arlington at the Better Homes and Gardens real estate office. She was a wonderful person, always willing to help and provide support. She will be missed by many. Regards, John Rector
Both Edna and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Lena, Donell’s wife. Our aquaintences with his wife were brief but enjoyable. We are very colse to Donell for he has attended our church (Kingdom Hall of Vienna) for several years. Our sympathy goes to all the surviving faimly. We grieve for the loss of a loved one.
I want to express my condolences to the family. Lena was a lovely lady who was always attentive and concerned over the welfare of her former long time neighbor and my mother, Adair Holroyd, formerly of Saint Roman Drive. Lena was a shining example of what a good neighbor should be. With sympathy, John Holroyd
Lena was a dear friend to me when we both lived in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where we saw each other frequently. As it so often happens, we wrote a few times after we moved on to other countries, and then lost touch over the years. Today, because I am going to be in Washington, DC, I wanted to see if I could get back with Lena and so, sadly, found the obituary. My condolences to the family, especially Don, of whom I also have fond memories, even though we did not see each other as much as Lena and I did. I am happy to read that the sons and daughter all have families and that Lena had the joy of having so many grandchildren. Best Regards Elisabeth Mcgill
