She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Anne Smith, and her sister and best friend, Rosemarie Dee Fouts.

  7. I am so sorry for your loss! Linda was a wonderful person – so generous with her time and energy – always welcoming my kids in her home. Jimmy and Amy, I am so sorry! Your mom loved you with every fiber of her being. I always loved her smile watching you. She was so genuinely happy to be a mom and so full of happiness in her life – from watching a lax game to raising chickens. She smiled and laughed.

  8. Our lives were all made brighter and more beautiful with Linda just across the street. We feel so lucky and grateful for our shared experiences of gardening, foraging, and making discoveries within our local landscapes. We are overcome by her loss. We are comforted to know our garden will grow brighter and more beautiful thanks to the many loving gifts of plants, seeds, and much more she gave to us over many years. Her open heart, her amazing energy, and her sense of wonder about life will be missed every day we look out our window. We send our love and deepest sympathy to Jim, Jimmy, Amy, her family, and her many friends.

  9. Linda brought immeasurable happiness to her family and to all whose lives she touched. She is the model and definition of true friendship. Her laughter, enthusiasm, and compassion will be remembered forever. Thank you, Linda, for being a wonderful and loved friend.
