On May 9, 2016. Mrs. Corrothers was a school teacher for over 40 years in Fauquier and Fairfax Counties, 25 of those years at Vienna Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband Brady C. Corrothers. She is survived by her brother Dick McAvoy, her son Edmund Corrothers, her grandchildren, Justin and Evan Corrothers, a great-granddaughter, Isabella and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm AT The Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
