On March 30, 2017, Loveda Galgocy passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Vienna, VA. Beloved wife of the late Charles Anthony Galgocy, she is survived by her loving sons, Chris B. Galgocy and Jeffry L. Galgocy, two grandchildren Ambrey and Matthew, and two great-grandchildren David and Liam.

Born in 1928 in Robinson, PA, Loveda eventually moved to Vienna, VA where she undertook a career at the Defense Fuel Supply Center, working across the hall from her husband. She loved being a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church as well as the Ladies of the Elks, where she enjoyed many cherished friendships.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Money and King Funeral Home 171 West Maple Avenue, Vienna, VA 22180. A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church 711 Spring Street SE, Vienna, VA 22180 preceded by a light reception at 12. Interment at National Memorial Park. The family will be accepting flowers and donations in remembrance of Loveda Galgocy to Inova Health Foundation- Inova Fairfax Hospital or Capital Caring.   2. Loveda was a great friend and member of the Elks Auxiliary. Her smiling face and gracious manners will be missed by all.

  3. Loveda and I became friends at the Board meetings in 1989. She was always interested and interesting, humorous, a lovely lady. I will truly miss her. Prayers for her and for her family. I regret health issues prevent me from attending her funeral.
