Mrs. Reynolds was born, Lucille Undine Rogers in North Carolina on May 3, 1920 to the union of Addie (Andrews) and William A. Rogers. In January 1936, she married William R. Baucom and became a resident of Washington, DC (WDC). About 1965, she bought a house in Alexandria, VA and commuted to work with "Chick", love blossomed and they married in 1967. She loved working in the yard, cooking, reading, and shopping at antique shops-she could spot a bargain a mile away. One of the great things she learned to do was drive at 48 years old and it changed her whole life. After that, she frequently drove to her vacation home in the mountains to a town Lenoir. She will be buried at Quantico National Cemetery with her beloved "Chick".
Mrs. Reynolds loved interacting with people and remained alert and "sharp as a tack" to the end of her life. She always looked forward to going out with a large group of friends at birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving, and to crab feasts at other times. She especially loved the crab feasts at Kena Temple. She loved to spend a lot of time in the kitchen , reading the newspaper and lots of magazines daily and her mail. Every day when she came into the kitchen, "Where are the kitties?" The four of them: Simon, Joy, Charlie, and Andy would come running to her. Simon would be in the large window in the kitchen sleeping by her as long as she was there, and she could reach over and pat him.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and Lady Shrine.
Mrs. Reynolds very much loved her care-givers: Becky and Rose and her friends, Linda and David.
