Lucille Bernstein Radcliffe (Age 80)
Passed away peacefully August 15th at Fair Oaks Hospital after a protracted illness.
Lucy was born at Fort Bragg, NC and followed her husband to Germany, then to Northern Virginia for over 40 years. Lucy worked many years as a civil servant in the Army accounting and payroll divisions for Fort Bragg, Fort Myers, Germany and other stations. Lucy's second career was a successful real estate agent for over 30 years, treating her clients as part of her family. She loved taking care of family and never let anyone leave her house hungry. Cooking and gardening were her hobbies.
Lucy was preceded in death by her sister Betty Bernstein, her brother Arnold Bernstein, and her husband James Radcliffe. She is survived by her sisters Marcel Truelove of Fayetteville, NC and Rosa Eisenstadt of Greenville, SC; her daughters Linda Pierce of Chantilly, VA and Paula Hyslop of Vienna, VA; and four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday August 19 at Temple Rodef Shalom, 2100 Westmoreland Street, Falls Church, VA 22043. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the American Diabetes Association or Evercare Hospice 8245 Boone Boulevard, Suite 403, Vienna, VA 22182.
