Luther Granville Martin, Jr., passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at his home in Vienna, Va. Beloved husband of the late Mary Compton Martin; devoted father of Ronald Granville Martin (Linda Cooley), Daryl C. Martin and Gregory Alan Martin (Jessica Holien); brother of Catherine Glenn; grandfather of Danielle, Stephanie, Keely and Maxfield. Mr. Martin was a World War II veteran serving in the Army and a retired Civil Engineer from the Washington, DC Department of Transportation. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 2:00 PM Vienna Presbyterian Church (Small Chapel), 124 Park St., NE, Vienna, Va.
