Marcella A. Sollom departed this life on August 26, 2010. Marcy peacefully passed away with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Orland Sollom; cherished mother of Craig S., Terry L. and Mark A. Sollom and Leslie S. Rose; mother-in-law of Sharon Sollom, Judy Allder, Jim Dowell and Gary Rose, devoted grandmother of Justin, Christopher and Michael. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Karen Engelsgaard, married to her brother, the late Ordell Engelsgaard. Marcella Aila Engelsgaard was born May 28, 1926 in Fosston, MN. She was a farm girl who moved to the Twin Cities after her marriage to Orland Sollom in 1947. They settled in Vienna, Va in 1958 to raise their children and enjoy their extended group of friends and neighbors. The retirement years were spent traveling and doing volunteer work for the community.
