Margaret Genevieve Polzin

Margaret Genevieve Polzin "Marge", age 89 of McLean, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday January 14, 2017. She was the loving wife of her late husband Eugene R. Polzin, Sr.; devoted mother of Eugene, Jr. "Bob", Mary Salmon (John), Cathy McDevitt (Rick), Joanne (Tim), Julie (Tom), and Jackie (Steve); cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Raymond Dillon. Marge graduated in the early 1950s Magnum Cum Laude from Dumbarton College. She lived a life of faith, kindness, and charity. She expressed these characteristics through the many adventures life took her on. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to Marge's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Friday, January 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA on Saturday January 21 at 10:30a.m. Interment to follow at National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of Saint Joseph, 9701 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118. Marge brought light and life to everyone. She had a sweet heart and was a blessing to many. We always loved her xmas letters! (: She is at peace in the greatest place ever!
