  1. I’m so very sorry to hear of Mrs. Stott’s death. Please know that she and her family are in my thoughts and my prayers. Peace.

  2. What a fine lady. She was always so pleasant with a wonderful smile. And she was always a wonderful support for Bill. We have missed her for the last few years, but she won’t be forgotten. God Bless

  3. Bill, Barbara and I are very sorry for your loss. We remember Peggy fondly from her time at Ripon. We were especially warmed by her interest in our (then) babies. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Sincerely, Russ Blake and Barbara McGowan

  4. Bill, Jean and I were so sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing. We remember her as both a gracious hostess for Ripon College and as a friend. Peggy was in two of my Russian History classes. I worried initially about whether there would be any awkwardness in terms of fitting in with the other students. There was not. To the contrary, she made good friends there almost instantly and several students seemed to look forward to seeing her there. She will genuinely be missed.

  5. Bill, We at Ripon College were so very lucky to have her as our “first lady”. She was such a gentle soul and represented our College with dignity and grace. She blessed many many lives. My sympathy and prayers go out to Bill and her children.

  6. President Stott- Thank you for generously and graciously sharing your family with our Ripon Family. Our hearts and thought are with you and your children at this time.

  12. I am deeply saddened by this. The kindness I was shown by the Stott family in my time at Ripon both as a student and as a later resident of the town shaped my life for the better. My sincerest thoughts and prayers are with the Stott family at this time.

  16. Bill, I remember having the privilege of having you and Peggy come to Appleton to join us for dinner along with Rik and Margo Warch. This was when you first had arrived in Ripon. Later when our son Tim wound up in NY city, Peggy gave me all kinds of tips to pass along. Good memories!

  17. Our family is saddened by the loss of Mrs. Stott and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family. Peggy inspired me with her culinary and entertaining prowess, literary knowledge and inexhaustible love for her children. She was also to be avoided when Chris, Rachel, Alexa and I were growing up and thinking about shenanigans (wink!). She set an excellent example and her smile and laugh will always be in our hearts.

  18. President Stott, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You and Mrs. Stott were so kind to me and my daughter, Alexis (Ali) at Ripon. Mrs. Stott was so compassionate to me as I worked hard to finish my degree and be a good mom at the same time. I will never forget the kindness and friendship you both bestowed on us.

  19. President Stott, Sending my thoughts and prayers your way. Your wife was a beautiful person and her memories live on with you and many others, whose lives she touched. Thinking of you and your family. Brooke Tireman Konopacki Ripon College 1994

  20. President Stott, Deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your wife Peggy. I have many fond memories of the times we worked together on College events. She was a truly admirable lady who treated everyone with a gracious spirit. Her genuine and elegant personality has remained with me all these years. Peace to you all.

  21. A beautiful and gracious person has gone from the earth. Our sincere sympathy and prayers to you, Bill, and all of the family. May you all be comforted by fond memories. We so enjoyed you both when you were at Ripon. All three daughters graduated from there and now we have a grandson there who is a Sophomore. Your presence made it a an even greater school.
