Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. As one of the neighborhood kids, my sisters and I would often end up across the street at Marge’s, playing with Leslie. My fondest memory of Marge was the day all the kids showed up to play at her house and to keep us busy, or to keep us out of the house, she gave us shovels and told us to dig a tunnel to China. So we did!!!! Boy was it a doozy. We had so much fun! You will be missed Marge. Love you and Love and prayers to Leslie and Billy.

  2. Sending Thoughts, Prayers and Love on the loss of your mother Leslie. We love y’all, your Mississippi family.😪❤️🙏

  3. Your mom was such a memorable person, Leslie! Vienna (girls’ sports!) is a better place because she lived here.
Neat reading that our Martha and your Maggie had as much fun at her house as you and and your siblings and friends did as kids. She will be missed on Drake St and everywhere. Anyone would know her voice! Your family is an inspiration in the way you cared for her. Love and sympathy to all, from the Byrne family.

  4. Through the last forty years, her last two were so memorable and such fun. Anna Maria and I would grab her and go to Lebanese, Chinese, and strange (to Marge and I) restaurants that Anna Maria wanted us to try. She was always up for it anytime I was in town. I enjoyed her company, not as an ex daughter-in-law, but as her friend. She will be missed by my daughters. Send love to Billy, Marty, Lester and Bruce.
