Dear Diane and Peter: Our deepest condolences for the loss of your wonderful mother Gretel, who had a long and fulfilled life. We met Gretel and Kurt in 1973, shortly after our arrival here in United States. She quickly introduced us to their German friends and made us feel welcome in our new country. We got together often and particularly enjoyed the great 4th of July evenings on Lake Barcroft. We shall remember Gretel and Kurt forever as very good friends. Thank you, Gretel. Love, Ute and Karl
