Maria Garcia Frias Clark departed this life on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Born on January 28, 1943 to the late Roque and Luisa Garcia-Frais in Lima, Peru. She is predeceased by her sister, Carmen Archambault. Maria is survived by her loving husband Bob Clark, daughters, Allison Alexander and Luisa (Jonathan) Long; sister of Jose Garcia-Frias, Henry Chinchilla and Isabel (Tony) Bennardo; cherished grandmother of Justin, Hunter, John and a fourth on the way and sister-in-law of Maurice Archambault. Maria founded Focus Optical and was a pioneer in the field of contact lenses and glasses.

Relatives and friends are invited to Maria's Life Celebration at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolftrap Rd., Vienna, VA on Thursday, June 19 from 6-8 PM and where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 20 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
