Marilyn P. Middleton, a longtime resident of McLean, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at INOVA Alexandria Hospital. Beloved wife of Charles O. Middleton, III, LCDR, USN (Ret.); loving mother of Stacey, Christopher, Michael, & the late Charles O. Middleton, IV; mother-in-law of Christine Middleton & Donna Middleton (wife of the late Charles O. Middleton); caring grandmother of Thomas Daly, Marilyn Middleton, Maddie & Matthew Middleton, Brandon Middleton, & Michael Middleton; & cousin of Robert Harting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc., 5272 River Rd., Ste. 700, Bethesda, MD 20816.

  2. I was privileged to bring Holy Communion to Marilyn and her mother Mary while they were at Cherrydale Nursing Home. Through prayer a treasured friendship develped. Marilyn’s spirit and wonderful sense of humor, even in her illness, brightened our lives. May she now rest in God’s peace. My love and condolences go to her devoted family.
