Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Marilyn you will be greatly missed. The memories of the fun times with Mom & Dad with family in Ohio as we were growing up will never be foregotten. May God bless you and rest in peace.

  2. Our thoughts are with the entire Donnelly family and friends as you gather to celebrate Aunt Marilyn’s life.

  3. My sincere condolence to you Cathleen, Sharon, Patricia, Robert, and Brian on the passing of your devoted mother. Death is like going to anothehr country we know little about. But we do know that there, we will meet friends and love ones. Your DEAR MOTHER, “MARILYN,” is meeting her other relatives who went ahead of her including YOUR DEAR FATHER, “ROBERT.” This thought of a reunion in heaven does not take away our tears entirely – you will miss your mother’s kindness, her cheerfulness, but it will lessen the pain of her passing away, and will make you less fearful of death, more willing to go on the journey that takes us from those we love on this earth to those we love who are in heaven. I’ll see you on Tuesday for the grave site services. God bless you and comfort you during this trying time of your lives.

  4. Cathy, We were so sorry to hear about your mother. You’ve always talked so warmly about your family. We hope they, and your friends, are a strong source of support at this time. Leslie and I are thinking of you and your family. All our best, Mike

  5. Cathy, my condolences to you, your family and your mom’s dear friends and “red hats.” I know your mom was a wonderful woman. She will live on in your memories, and her legacy is the love of her family and friends. Thinking of you — Nancy

  6. Cathy – On behalf of the Sterling integration team at IBM, I wanted to express our most sincere condolences on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers have been with you during this most difficult of times.

  7. Dear Donnelly Cousins, In spite of the years gone by, we’ve always maintained fond memories of Aunt Marilyn. We saw her as practical to the core with a sunny disposition. For example, our family was always astonished that yours would sing in the car on cross-country drives (while we would bicker and battle across the miles). That was probably Aunt Marilyn’s influence. Revisiting your favorite, funniest moments of her will ease the sadness of this difficult loss. Our sincere condolences, Bob & Ann Durrin

  8. Cathy, the thoughts and prayers of your friends and colleagues are with you at this time. Please accept our sincerest sympathies and we hope you are comforted by knowing that your mom’s spirit lives in each and every member of the Donnelly family.

  9. Patti, My condolences to you and your family. I will miss seeing your Mother out at the Park. It was always a pleasure! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  10. Dear Cathy: May I extend to you and your family my heartfelf sympathy at the loss of your mother. Although I never had the privilege of knowing Marilyn, from conversations with you, I know she had a full life, filled with the joy that comes from a loving and caring family. Please accept my heartfelt condolences in this time of sorrow. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Mary Lou
