Guestbook

  1. Uncle Jack, You were a wonderful man and we will miss you! We have a lot of fond memories of you, that we will keep in our hearts forever. May God’s love and Blessing be with the family, and freind during this greiving time and may we all remember Jack’s love and sense of humor. May we always keep the love he gave us, close to our hearts, and keep spreading that love to those near to us. With Love, Dean and Ruth Reed and their Sons and Daughters

  2. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family of Marion Schultz. My first job after high school was at PEPCO. I worked with “Schultz”, as we called him, in Customer Accounting from 1959 until 1970. He was one of my supervisors and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known. We used to tease him about how fast he walked around the office. He taught me, and a bunch of other 18 to 20 year olds, how to become IBM accounting machine operators. I learned, by his example, how to work hard (and fast), to do a good job and be responsible, while at the same time, to enjoy what you were doing. I carried that attitude with me even after leaving PEPCO. I will always remember Schultz. One quick story, one day I took a piece of paper and wrote “PRESS” on it and stuck it in the hat band of his fedora. He rode all the way home on the bus with it. We all had a good laugh the next day.

  3. I worked in Computer Operations and Schultz worked in Customer Records at Pepco. He was always coming over to get print out. He was always running. For a big man he could move fast. I’m on the phone with someone else who knew Marion. Her name is Dixie Freeman. She said she always admired him for his work ethic. I often what happen to Marion. My sincere condolences to all who loved him. Albert Palmer Short
