Mark Anthony Mrozek
May 6, 1947 ~ October 13, 2016
Mark Mrozek of Vienna, Va., passed away at home on October 13, 2016 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Donna; daughter, Sarah Pica (Joe); granddaughter Katherine and his older sister, Pam Blakeman. Mark held degrees from the University of Michigan and George Washington University. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam war, he had a successful career in hospital administration for 35 years. During his ten year retirement he enjoyed traveling, sailing, church and community activities, Nationals baseball, spending time with his family and friends and reading in the gazebo with the dog. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Inova Schar Cancer Institute, Designation: Cancer Research.
