Guestbook

  1. Dear Helen, My deepest sympathies at the loss of your husband, Mark. My thoughts are with you through this difficult time. Warm Regards, Jane Cashin

  2. Dear Helen, Mike, Chris, and Pete, We were stunned to hear of Mark’s passing. There is a deep hole in our hearts and he will be forever missed; but he will also be remembered always for his brillant mind, his kind and gentle demeanor, his wicked wit and his quiet reserve. We are all better for having known him. Sue, Tim, Jeff, Scott, Chris and Stephanie

  3. To Helen, Michael, Christopher and Peter: I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of your husband & father, Mark. Over the years I have come to think of the Swinburnes as extended family. Mark was always there with a smile & provided great company. I will always remember him as an extremely intelligent, warm and funny person. I can remember the last time I saw him; I believe it was for Chris’ graduation at the Pecaro’s home. Mark was in a very talkative mood and he kept the conversaton lively and interesting. I hope all the years of fond memories will comfort and sustain your family during this extremely difficult time. Please know that even though I am not there, you have my prayers and emotional support across the miles. I love the Irish blessing that begins “May the road rise to meet you, may the wind always be at your back”… I hope this is true for the Swinburne family. Mark’s legacy is about family- a loving wife and three wonderful sons. He will always be loved, missed and remembered fondly. With deepest sympathy, Marina Mantel

  4. I grew up and went to school with Mark. I live in in a rural area of louisiana. last i heard of him was about 15 years ago when one of my neighbors had a chance encounter with him, recognising the accent, at Dollywood. We are all getting ready for a class reunion and we are all going to miss Mark. Take care, Tim Garlick
