Martha Lee Clark, age 90, of Vienna, VA died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Fair Oaks Hospital. Loving wife of the late James H. Clark, Jr., devoted mother of Laura (Donald) Wood, Susan (Jody) Smith, Martha (Ernest) Steidle, James H. (Merri Sue) Clark, III and Steven (Andrea) Clark. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 543 Beulah Road, NE, Vienna, Virginia on Friday, March 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, and where the service will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Flint Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Martha and Mary Missions Center of Holy Comforter Church, or the charity of your choice.

My Precious Mother, Rest in peace, my beautiful mother. You were a lovely, funny, smart, very hard working lady. You did a great job raising us five Clark kids. You showed us kind devotion, and the art of servitude. You were a true Christian, one of God’s beloved. I will miss you every day of my life. You are once again with Daddy, and among the angles. I will look for your star and I will be with you in heaven when I am called. I love you with all my heart and soul. Your loving daughter, Susan
The Clark family, I am very sorry for your loss. Through Mrs. Clark’s granddaughter Kim, I had the joy and opportunity to speak to her many times. Especially about early Vienna. Always interesting and fun. She was a “salt of the earth” person. My deepest condolences.
Every Sunday at the early service we got a hug from Martha and her best friend Mary. We learned a lot about aging gracefully from Martha. She loved her family and always spoke of her husband in glowing terms. We will miss this lovely lady and her big heart. Our love and condolences to the family. Jim and Linda Elliott

To The Clark Family My condolences to the family. Brenda, your grandmother lived a wonderful life and now God has called her on to be with the Angels. You be strong and hold onto gods unchanging hand.
I am sorry we could not get up for the funeral but will always remember what a lovely person Martha was. She set the example for all of us to keep busy, give back to the community and spend time with family and friends. There is no doubt she will be missed. Our love to everyone! Brenda and Bob Samson
To Susan, Laura, Martha (my favorite babysitter), Jim and Steve (my pals), It was my privilege to attend the beautiful service for your wonderful mother and to be considered a friend of the family.
