On Sunday, August 30, 2009, Mary A.B. Crookston (age 76), of McLean, Virginia passed away at Fairfax Hospital. Loving wife of the late Norbert James Crookston, Jr. & devoted mother of James C. Crookston. She is also survived by one brother, Henry Booth & numerous friends.

Danny was a faithful and devoted friend. I will miss her very much. I have put out a notice on the Vabird list serve because she had friends in the birding community from all over the state.
