Mary Jane Noella Morin

It was a special morning on that 21st of December, 1928, when the beautiful baby Mary Jane was born to Nolia and Aime Paquette-the only daughter among four brothers, who always protected her. The soft-spoken 'MJ' was an erudite student, excelling in her studies at Saint Francis Catholic Elementary School in Winooski, Vermont, and later at Mount Saint Mary's High School in Burlington, Vermont. She spoke fluent French from her Canadian heritage and enjoyed making her famous Christmas tortieres.

In 1949, MJ fell in love with, and married, a handsome Army officer, Remi F. Morin. As his devoted wife until his heartbreaking passing in 2005, she was a tireless, self-less loving mother to their five children. MJ fostered the talents of her children: Suzanne as a gifted musician, Joanne a caregiving nurse, Robert a swashbuckling sailor, Roger a real estate mogul, and Diane as the model of her mother's maternal proclivities. Mom, also known as GMA to her grandkids, was an "Uno Player Extraordinaire", avid solitaire champion, and a devout earth angel, praying at daily Mass for a safe, strong America, unborn babies, and the persecuted Christians around the world.

Our beloved Mary Jane was called to Heaven to be with Jesus, Blessed Mary, and St. Joseph on September 13, 2015. A viewing for friends will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday September 18, 2015 at

Saint Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, Virginia, at whose elementary school she had been an active volunteer. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, September 19, 2015 also at Saint Mark Catholic Church, with a reception following the funeral Mass. Friends wishing to remember Mary Jane are requested to please make a contribution to the charity, Divine Mercy Care, http://www.divinemercycare.org/donate.htm.
