with the deepest sorrw, allow Janet, my wife and I to express our condolences for the loss of your son Matthew. Even though we never knew him, Tim has allowed us to know just what kind of a wonderful person that he was. I.m sure he will be missed. Our prayers are with your family and Matthew. God bless, Mark Pattison
Dear Jack, Joan, Marie and family, You are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. I wish I could be there, but am so happy that I visited you last year at Theresa’a, and then again recently and spent some time with Matt. Even though he was ill, I caught a glimpse of his humour and personality and I will treasure it. While I visited I read, and learned about how the people in Matt’s life felt about him and I saw the kind of person he was (and still is though in a different place, I believe) and I have no dought of his integrity and excellent character and what a loss to all of us and everyone who would have known him in the future. Joan and Jack I want to commend you on your loving and good care of Matt. Your dedication to the parenting of Matt and Marie is evident in the richness of their personalities and character. My prayer is for the Holy Spirit to surround you all, comfort and guide you. I know He will give you peace in the midst of your grief. Love, Pam Durocher and Family
I am really sad to hear that. I praying to god.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Bill, Mary, Frances and Paul Dunker
Jack, I’m so very sorry to hear about Matt. My wife and I are thinking about you and your family.
Dear Jack and Joan, I learned of Matthew’s death yesterday and needless to say I felt tremendous sympathy for you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss. It seems like only yesterday that I was sharing dinner at your house in Germany with you Marie and Matt. I remember Matt and Marie as fantastic children, the caring love and nurturement by their parents was obvious. I know it is extremely difficult, buy I pray that your heart mends, your memories remain vivid, and that you get some comfort from knowing your friends stand by your side in prayer and sympathy. Mike Casey

Matt was such a special person. Everyone at SHAPE knew him and loved him. He always had a smile on his face! He was always ready to help in any way that he could. We will all miss him dearly!!!! God Be With You All at his very difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs. Bates-Sanders
Dear Mr.and Mrs Reimann and Marie, I am deeply saddened to hear of Matt’s death.I remember him well as a high school student at SHAPE. He was the kid with an easy smile, manners that he didn’t forget to use and the guy who was always ready to lend a helpful hand to teachers and students alike. His personal success was guaranteed as he utilized the gifts given to him. I can only imagine the type of young adult he became. This is a very difficult period for your family and my thoughts are with you as you face this sad time. I will remember Matt and as I look up into a starlit sky, I will see him as one of those twinking stars smiling down at the rest of us. Sincerely, Prudy Bickel, former guidance counselor at SAHS
Matt, you had a tough blow dealt, rest in peace. Jack and Joan, my mother in law lost her husband and middle daughter sometime back within 2 months of each other. She told me, “thats the way life is, one day its all fine and the next, its all changed”. I am truly sorry for your loss and cannot fathom the impact, I have known you both for many years and hope that your pain is offset by the fact that you did all that could be done. He is with the Lord now, you raised a God fearing, contributing member to society and should find solace in that.
Jack, Joan and Marie; Words just cannot begin to express what we feel about Matt’s passing. Working with him in Scouts was always a pleasure. It was amazing watching him develop and mature through his school days in Belgium. Although his time here was short, he blessed everyone who knew him and we are truly grateful to be among those. You are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
I remember Matt as a thoughtful, kind, intelligent, and generous boy. He often made me laugh and always made me smile. We now have an extra angel to protect us. He loved well and is well loved. I hold your family in my thoughts.
