Beloved wife of Edmund Zacharkevics; mother of Ramona Gann of Chevy Chase, Maryland, Edmund Zacharkevics, Jr. of Edina, Minnesota & Thomas Zacharkevics of Oakton, Virginia; & grandmother of Cloe, Emma, Juliette, Alexander & Caroline.

Dear Mom, As the Holiday and Christmas season approaches, I remember with a smile the so many we spent together in so many states and countries. No matter where we were, you managed a smile, a home cooked meal with lessons, a good story and song. If everyone didn’t laugh at your jokes, your laugh often conveyed what I felt. Mom, you could hear your laugh 100 yards away and know who it was. You and Dad did a great job of teaching us kids the meaning of Christmas; that giving was more fullfilling than receiving. I’m so proud to be able to pass that onto my 3 little ones. This 1st Xmas without you will naturally be different. I will remember the so many GOOD times we shared. I now know that this wasn’t allways easy…..let me say that you made it look so and whatever was happening behind the scenes, appeared transparent. May God Bless You Mom and keep your soul.
