Minnie D. Thompson of McLean, VA died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at The Virginian in Fairfax, VA. She is the loving wife of 62 years to Kenneth Thompson, devoted mother of Dana Dunn (Marty), Dona Thompson (Henry Rinne) and Kenneth "Tommy" Thompson (Maria). She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, Michael (Lillian), Kelsey (Reggie), Tracy (James), T.J., Katie, Kenneth, Tyler, Matthew and Noland, 3 great-grandchildren, Alice, Barrow and Naomi and 1 sister Theresa Munden. Relatives and friends are invited to Minnie's visitaion at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Saturday, August 3 from 3-5 PM and where funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Hope for Henry Foundation, 2300 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Suite 100 A, Washington, DC 20007.

Aunt Minnie will be missed dearly. She was a wonderful fun loving person who brightened up the lives of everyone who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with my Uncle Kenny and cousins Dana,Dona and Tommy. I loved Aunt Minnnie and love you guys.
