Of Oakton, VA on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Beloved wife of James M. Cutchin, IV; loving mother of James M. V (Elizabeth) Cutchin of Herndon, VA and John W. (Cynthia) Cutchin of Marietta, GA; adored grandmother of Jessica Marie Cutchin, Robert Alston Cutchin, and Meagan Elise Dilbeck; she is the daughter of the late James Alston and Doris Galloway Elks. Nancy graduated from Greenville High School, attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and Kings Business College in Raleigh, NC. Prior to marriage on June 12, 1955, Nancy was an Office Manager for Carolina Telephone Company in Greenville, NC, worked for the Navy Department in D.C., as well as at the Pentagon. Nancy was a beloved wife and mother and was a homemaker until her sons were grown. She then worked at Treasure Trove in McLean and as a temp for 1st American Bank. For many years Nancy enjoyed playing tennis at Westwood Country Club, looked forward to annual summer gatherings in Nags Head, traveling, and cruising.
