Pauline "Betty" Gates, age 88, passed away on January 30, 2016 in Aldie, VA. Betty is survived by her sister, Kay James; niece, Kimberlee Sherman and her husband, John; as well as two great nephews, Jake and Ronnie Sherman and great niece, Emily Sherman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave, Vienna, VA 22180. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org

We will miss you, Betty. We are so glad that we saw you at Christmas.
Betty, I will miss you. I am ute we will meet again. I miss your wit & humor.you were a great Aunt to everyone, especially Kim and her family.
Betty was a wonderful and thoughtful lady that lived life to the fullest. She also had much success in her government career where her and my mom met years ago. I always loved listening to her stories of her working on the DOD budget at the Pentagon. She brought so much joy, kindness and great memories to my family. We will always be grateful for how much Betty supported my mom after my dad passed away. Taking her to the store, going on vacation to Florida, or simply going out to lunch or dinner. I know my parents welcomed her at the gates of heaven!
