Pat was an amazing woman, a dear friend, a dedicated Christian, and the best Director of Children’s Ministries EVER! She knew how children think, how they learn, how they worship…and she made sure that all of our programs at Holy Comforter took into account our youngest parishioners. She had so many wonderful ideas and launched terrific programs that we still use today. An entire generation of children has grown up at Holy Comforter feeling closer to God because she was closer to them. We will all miss her, but her good works will live on in our Children’s Ministries program, and she will be forever in the hearts of all of us who loved her.
Our world is mourning the loss of Patti but heaven is having a wonderful “welcome home” party. What an absolutely delightful woman she was. Always with that big smile and kind words. Always looking on the bright side of all things and always making me laugh. Patti, I miss you but I know you are resting in Jesus and smiling up at His face. You are my hero. Thank you for all the lessons learned.
My heart mourns for the loss to Steve, Chris, and Pauline, but Pat, you are in the bigtime now. I know you are spreading your sunny smile and humor all over heaven. We’ll all look forward to seeing you when it’s our turn.
Steve and Chris, I join with many, many others in giving thanks for Pat’s life among us. Her heart, her smile, her laughter, her knowledge, her courage, her spirit, and her faith had an enormous impact on all of us, and these were just a few of the incredible qualities she possessed. As light perpetual shines upon her, we get to be in its reflection and continue having her as a role model. What a blessing she is!
