Patricia Ann Messineo (nėe Winters) was born on January 1, 1943, in New York City and passed away on November 27, 2025, at her home in Oakton, Virginia.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents John Kevin Winters and Helena Mary (nėe Horohoe). She is predeceased by sister Eileen Winters. She is survived by sisters Mary Frances Mack, Ann Marie Jefferson, nieces and nephews.
Patricia, who was known for her devotion to the Holy Rosary and The Blessed Virgin Mary, was a loyal Traditional Catholic and a leading light at Saint Athanasius Church. She was a devoted member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Altar Society, and St. Camillus Society. She was also a beloved godmother to countless members and known affectionately as “Aunt Patty” and she filled that role with love. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her
A Catholic funeral will take place at Saint Athanasius Roman Catholic Church at 9201 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, Virginia on Friday, December 5th
at 10 AM, followed by a burial in the adjacent Andrew Chapel Cemetery.
