Patricia Doris Evelyn Kitchen Fabyanic of Marshall, VA passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 in Tampa, FL. She was born February 28, 1936, to Wilber and Pauline Kitchen in Logan, WV. Her youth was spent in West Virginia and Tennessee. She was raised primarily by her mother and remained devoted to her always.

Patty, as she was known to her friends, invokes thoughts of generosity, kindness, compassion, and a joyful, loving spirit. She always played the gracious host, with the offer to have a seat and something to drink when you arrived at her door. To her children, she was the mother who always consoled us when sad, applied a cold cloth for a fever, read a bedtime story, sewed our Halloween costumes, and cooked dinner every night. For her husband, she was the “Chief of Staff”, managing the household efficiently and effortlessly. Patty grew up in an era where manners and congeniality were instilled young, and she worked to impress these traits into her children.

Patty was a faithful and beloved member St. Athanasius Church in Vienna, VA for nearly 30 years. She gave generously of her time and loving nature to all who knew her. She regularly attended Mass, attended to the church linens, and was Prefect of the Ladies Sodality.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her faithful husband of 60 years, Thomas, and sister Mary Jo. She is survived by her children Michael (Traci) of Tampa FL, Mark of Sarasota, FL, Ann of Cavalier, ND, grandchildren Anthony, Raphael and Gabriella Fabyanic and David and Kaitlyn Harris.

Viewing will be held at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 Maple Ave, W, Vienna, VA, 22180, on Wednesday, March 16 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The Rosary will be said at 7:30 PM.
