Patricia Marie Adams, affectionately known as Patti to her friends and family, was a beacon of love and faith in the lives of all who knew her. Born on April 21, 1952, in the heart of Washington, DC, Patti grew up to be a woman of remarkable character and kindness. It is with heavy hearts that we announce her peaceful passing on July 31, 2025, surrounded by her family in Oakton, VA, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Patti’s early years were spent in the company of her loving siblings, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. She is survived by Eileen Incontrera and her husband Gaetano, Barbara Pickeral and her husband Albert, Nancy Stout and her husband Thomas, Greg Adams, Jean Marie Trudnak, and David Adams with his wife Cassie. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Adams, whose wife Christy remains a cherished member of the family.

A proud graduate of Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA, Patti carried the values of her education throughout her life. Her career as a contractor with the FBI was marked by dedication and excellence, and she retired in 2023 with the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Patti’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived her life as a testament to the love and grace of God, embodying the virtues of compassion and service. Her selfless nature was evident in her every action, and her creativity shone through in the clever crafts she created and shared with others.

A lover of life’s simple pleasures, Patti found joy in the laughter of children, the melodies of country music, and the heartwarming stories of Hallmark movies. She never missed an opportunity to watch a musical, allowing the songs and dances to fill her heart with happiness.

Those who knew Patti will remember her as faith-filled and selfless. She was a woman who put others before herself, always ready to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Her generous spirit will live on in the memories of those she loved and cared for with an open heart.

As we bid farewell to Patti, we take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, resting in the loving embrace of our Lord. Her legacy of kindness, faith, and creativity will continue to inspire us, and her memory will forever be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Patti’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of love, faith, and family. As we celebrate her journey home, we honor the immeasurable impact she made on the world around her. She will be profoundly missed, but the light of her spirit will never fade. Rest in peace, dear Patti, until we meet again.
