Former Nevada Governor and Senator Paul Laxalt peacefully passed away on August 6, 2018 with his loving wife Carol by his side. He was born August 2, 1922 to Dominique and Therese Laxalt in Reno, Nevada. He is survived by his wife Carol and children Gail, Sheila, John Paul, Michelle, Kevin-Marie, Kathleen and Denise, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless friends. Senator Laxalt was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert, John and Peter and is survived by sisters Suzanne and Marie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 6th at 9:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. A Memorial Service will be held for Senator Laxalt in Carson City, Nevada in November.
