Rai R. Mamoer, of the Washington D.C. area, died on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center.

Loving father of Raiana Mearns, Wati Alvarez-Correa (George), Etty Prager (Seth), Rita Davis (David Inniss) and Tri Bostelman (Mitchell). He was preceded in death by his on-in-law, Bill Mearns. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Ben, Brian, Philip, Carolina, Elliott, Sophia, Emma, Claire, Eliza and Jaiden.

His smiling face & the gentle loving man he was is forever sealed in my childhood memory. As are both of you. Also your wonderful mother Ann, who was so generous & kind. Filling her car & taking all the children on the block to the museums & for picnics on the mall. Watching Disney in my slippers & pjs at your apartment. If I have such happy memories what must you have stored. I pray they will bring comfort & a smile to your faces at this sad time.
