Randy Poole
March 11 1956-March 21 2016
Randy was born to Irvin and Betty Poole on March 11 1956. He was raised at 1746 Pimmit drive, along with his sister Linda. He would later move next door (1744 Pimmit drive) which is where he resided until his untimely passing on March 21st 2016. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1974 and has been a strong prescience in Pimmit Hills throughout his life. He was a member of the Lions Club along with his Father. He worked for the Fairfax park Authority and continued to be involved with them even after he was no longer an employee.
Randy leaves behind a daughter, Lyssa Poole-Benson, A sister, Linda Williams and her Husband Jack, as well as a niece Amanda Bradbury, and nephew Eric Williams.
Randy has always had a hunger for life, knowledge and new experiences. He explored many different things with love and passion such as, nature, gardening and Bonsai, animals, specifically reptiles and aquatics, Martial arts, fire arms, instruction and safety, body piercing and art, music, motorcycles, and many other hobbies that he turned into careers.
One of his most favorite things was to share his knowledge with others, to be a teacher and to learn any and all he could about whatever he was most passionate about.
He was a very kind and loving person, and would often go out of his way to help others. He had much to give, and enjoyed sharing his time, wisdom, and joy.
He will be eternally missed by those whose lives he touched in so many different ways.
But as long as we remember him, weather it's tending a Bonsai that he gave, taking special care of ones animals, practicing ones Karate, or even going down to the shooting range. Randy is there with us while we do those things that he enjoyed so much and shared with us each and every day. As long as we continue to do these things, he will always be beside us in our endeavors, and never be forgotten.
"Mind like fire unbound"
Picture a flame burning on a wick or stick, it seems to hover around or just above the thing burning. The flame seems to be independent of the thing burning but it clings to the stick and is bound to it.
The flame of our true nature, which is awakening, burns independently.
The flame is not blown out.

I will never forget all the good times with you my brother. Love you forever â¤ï¸
We are so sorry about your loss Randy was very nice person and he take good care of his Mom and Dad. Peace be with you and your family
Randy was a fine person and was very kind to my daughter , Martha Norment, when she needed a good friend. He took good care of her when she needed that and saw that she was well taken care of. Lyssa and I celebrated Easter together many years ago, dying Easter eggs. She was a lovely young girl then but I imagine is grown up now.
I’m so sorry to hear of Randy’s passing. We lived right across the street for the last few years and loved chatting with him about Lily who came to play with our dogs a number of times. Randy did a wonderful job of caring for his neighbors and single-handedly kept the entire street looking tidy and festive. He was a very good soul and we’re sorry he passed. We send our regards to the family, who have lost three beloved members in such a short period of time. Our thoughts are with you all.
