Renelda (“Rennie”) Dobbs (née Hines) of Vienna, VA, passed away
peacefully on July 14th, 2025. A beloved wife and mother, she is
survived by her children Sean Dobbs (Elizabeth Nielsen) and Nicholas
Dobbs; as well as her brother Robert Hines Jr. She is preceded in
death by her husband James Dobbs and her parents Tosca and Robert
Hines.
Rennie loved her family, reading, travel, and cats. She volunteered at
animal rescues and was a generous donor to the arts and other causes
near to her heart. Her many friends and loved ones will remember her
for kind and thoughtful nature.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St Anthony of Padua
Catholic Church, 3305 Glen Carlyn Rd., Falls Church, VA 22041 on
Tuesday, July 22 at 10am with Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery
alongside her late husband.

Rennie was a good friend as well as a bit of a second mother to one of my sons. She was a great travel companion and a fun dining companion of Thai food. I will miss your, Rennie!
