Richard Dean Holzheimer, Major US Army (Ret)

Richard “Dick” Holzheimer, 90, of Fairfax County, VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024. He was born on July 8th, 1934 in Holloway, MN, attended Concordia University in Moorhead, MN, ultimately graduated from Moorhead State College in Moorhead, MN, finished Officer Candidate School, served in the Vietnam War, and retired from the Army as a Major. Dick leaves a legacy of a large, loving, multigenerational family from all over the country.

The family will receive friends at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va., on Sunday, February 23rd from 2-4 PM.  Funeral services will be held at the Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel on Monday, February 24th at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
