Chip was a great friend for many years and I will miss him greatly. My condolences to the family. I will be there Sept. 3
I am deeply saddened by the news of Chip’s passing. He was a long time friend who had a crazy sense of humor and at the same time could still be very sensitive about the serious side of life.. My condolences to Nancy, Dick & Andy. I will definitely be there in September.
Many fond memories of growing about across the street from the Starnes family in the 1950’s. I just discovered that another childhood friend and neighbor, Bill Winterbottom has died. I wish I had had a chance to see Chip later in life.
I am saddened to learn of Chips passing. Although I have not seen him for many many years, I have wonderful memories of him teasing me like a little sister when growing up in Bayside NY and then seeing him again in Virginia in later years. My thoughts and prayers and love are with the Starnes Family. – Margy (Carlies friend)
