  1. Dear Penny and Samantha, We are very sorry for loss and saddened by Rich’s sudden untimely passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and we are here for you if you need us for anything at all. Rich was a true friend and full of life and he will be greatly missed. With Love, Alain, Janene, and Sophia

  2. We will miss his sweet smile and infectious laugh. He was a true friend to us over the years and we are very grateful we had his friendship. He was one of the most loving and devoted fathers I have ever known. The only thing that separates us from being family is blood. It is rare to have such friends. Samantha and Penny, I will forever love you and be here for you. Always. Rest in Peace sweet Rich, you were loved and adored by so many and will be deeply missed. When I saw you last week, you hugged me twice and for that, I will be forever grateful.

  3. Dear Penny and Samantha, We are so terribly sorry for your loss. Richard was such a good neighbor, always ready to help or just to chat. We’ll miss seeing him in the neighborhood. If there’s anything we can do to help during this difficult time, please let us know. We’re right across the street. In sympathy, John & Donna

  4. Rich was always so kind and whitty. I will never forget his infectious smile and way of turning a quiet room into laughter. Penny and Samantha, I love you both so much, and I cannot imagine what you must be feeling. Please know my heart is with you all. Will always miss you Rich. Love ~Ashley

  5. Penny and Samantha, I’m so sorry for your loss and I wish there was something I could do to ease the pain that you’re going through. Rich was a fine and gifted man with a smile that could brighten any room. He loved you both more than anything and everyone that had the honor of knowing him, will miss him very much.

  6. Fond and Fun memories of Rich as he was growing up as a young friend of my son. I hope friends and family will help give you peace at this time. I pray for your family. Warm regards, Sandy Angelus (Mark”s Mom)

  7. I will miss my buddy Rich. I will miss laughing and talking with him too, the rest of my life; we had made a lot of future plans. I will truly miss hearing his laugh, as I always looked forward to spending time with him. I will miss Richs face light up when he or I mentioned Samantha. I know that Samantha will continue to have a guardian for life; for her daddy will be with her always, everyday, and everywhere she goes. Rich will continue to inspire Sam. I know how much Penny meant to Rich, and I am very sad for the road ahead will undoubtedly be tough at times. Rich, God bless you man, may you rest in peace and comfort, knowing your angels are in the best of hands amongst all that love you. You left us much too soon, and much too young. With sincere regret, Jeff & Mari Pringle

  16. Penny and Samttha, I feal that I know Rich through our breaks at Qmed. I know and have experienced the pain that you and his family are experiencing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family I know from experience, because my husband died suddenly 10 years ago in April. Penny, I can imagine whst you are going through, the pain, grief, sorrow, anger. You name it and you will experience it. I can tell you that with time the pain lessens but the loss of one you loved so deeply will last. The first year will be the most difficult, as wll as holidays such as the first 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc. After that, time seems to take some of the pain from you. I feel for you and Samantha as I know what you are going through. I would like to share some of my experineces when you return. Love Donna Zastudil

  19. Richy Rich was a special person with a warm heart. We shared many fond memories since we were young. I remember the 1st time I met Rich it was at a Centreville Elementary School Dance. He was by far the best dancer in the room and I have no idea how he was doing some of these moves. We shared many special moments in high school and later in life we were also able to share many enjoyable times at Shaggy’s playing cards. Rich always was always a joy to be around – and I know he loved he family very much. I am sure he is smiling on us…

  20. Dear Penny and Samantha, I met Rich back in the arly 80’s when we were both at Rocky Run Middle School. One winter in particular we were having a huge snowfall and of course a gang of us turned it into a snowball fight. We then moved to the bridge on Middle Ridge Drive in Greenbriar and hid behind the rails waiting for cars to drive by,t hen pelt them with snowballs. At one point a bunch of cars stopped at once and the drivers chased us all into the surrounding woods. Great memories! I feel blessed to have known Rich, and I am praying for you and for all Rich’s family and close friends during this very sad occasion. sincerely, Doug

  21. Dear Penny and Samatha – Steve and I are so sorry not to be there with you during this difficult time. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we love you. Rich was a trip – he certainly made us laugh. We will remember him always.
