Guestbook

  1. Rita Christopher was one of the most warm and hospitable persons I have ever known. She loved her husband, her family and her home-always making you feel welcomed. The marriage of Andy and Rita was enviable. I feel privileged to have known Rita for over thirty years. God bless you and your family.

  2. It’s impossible to imagine a Spring without our next-door neighbor Rita inspecting her garden, making sure flowers were blooming on time. It is also so very difficult to think of any season without her. Hers was a solid and endearing presence in our lives. Even toward the winter of her life, she managed to look lovely: her earrings on, her shirt matching her slacks. We shall miss her enormously.

  3. Rita was a cherished neighbor of ours for over 30 years. We have thought about Rita and Andy often over the years. We will miss Rita who is inour thoughts and prayers

  4. Rita and I became friends in our water aerobics class at Spring Hill Rec Center. She was an inspiration to all of us. Class was not the same if she was not there. Rita always had a smile on her face and kind words for everyone. Over the years, our friendship expanded outside of class. I already miss her greatly. My deepest sympathy to her family.

  5. Dear Uncle Andy and Family. I want to offer my condolences on the passing away of Aunt Rita. I was over in Moscow and my mother Ruth informed me. I will always remember the times spent at Burr Oak Lake and how much you and Rita mean to my family and parents. Much Love. Yours in Christ Bill Hoover

  6. I’ve only known Rita for the past five years and found her a most endearing and delightful woman. I looked forward weekly to enjoying her at our mutual beauty parlor. I shall miss her, her smile, and her fantastic sense of humor. Most certainly I send my sincere condolences to her beloved family.

  7. Thinking of Rita. Memories keep coming back to the many times we shared. Kindness and good humor will always be with me.

  8. Dear Diane, I want to express my heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your dear mother. Thankfully I have the memories of the mother-daughter luncheons we had in recent years. Know you are in my thoughts. Praying for your comfort. Again, my deepest sympathy. Much love to you and your family.

  9. I’ve known Mrs. Christopher since I was a teenager. She and Dr. Christopher always made me feel welcome in their home. Linda and I will miss her. We send our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Christopher and the rest of the family. Ward & Linda Green

  10. Uncle Andy and Family, I was so sorry to hear the news about Aunt Rita and you are all in my heart and in my prayers. Dad will now have a great friend to keep him company. I am sorry your loss is his gain. We love all of you and are with you every step of the the way. Take care of each other during this time. Love Kathryn

  11. Dear Uncle Andy and Family Please know that Aunt Rita passing was terrible news to hear, and that I will always remember Aunt Rita with cherished thoughts. We will sincerely miss her. May God watch over Aunt Rita and your family. Love Karen and Don Bushey

  12. Dear Uncle Andy, Diane, Mark, George and family, We are thinking of you with love and great sadness over the passing of Aunt Rita. Her beautiful smile and lovingness will always live on in my fond memories of my wonderful Aunt. No one can compete with Aunt Rita’s shish-ka-bob and sitting at her beautifully set table was always a treat and a great time. I am grateful to have been able to be with her and all of you so recently, and I will truly miss her. Our condolences and prayers of comfort are with you. Much love, Shelly, Jeff, Jillian and Tyler

  13. Rita and Andy have been such an integral part of American Legion and she will be messed so much. She was so dear to everyone in every way. What a fortunate family to have had her as mother, and we were fortunate to have known her as a friend.

  14. I met Rita in the ladies locker room at the Spring Hill Rec Center. Over the years we began to chat. She was the most positive, upbeat, kind, and thoughtful person; so proud of her children, grandchildren, and, of course, her husband. I’m glad I got to know her a little bit. I’ve missed her smiling face and good humor at the gym. She was a delight. My condolences to her entire family. Deborah Kahn
