Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I had several insightful and memorable conversations with Bob over the years. On one occasion a couple of years ago I was with a group of friends who had attended an event at Vinson Hall and Bob graciously invited all of us to stay for lunch where he amazed us with his clear memories of specific incidents aboard ship during WWII. His greatest achievement is the respect and affection of his many talented children and grandchildren.

  2. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Wulf on several occasions when he volunteered to talk about his experiences in WWII with students at the school where his daughter Susan works. He was such an interesting and charismatic person and we all enjoyed visiting with him. He will be greatly missed!

  3. I got to know “The Commander” while visiting Mary Ann McCarthy, 95, who lived down the hall from him at Vinson Hall. He often brought her the day’s mail while I was there and always had a cheerful word. I wish I had known Bob in his younger years.

  4. Dear Susan, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad’s death. You have my deepest sympathy. Take care. Love, Nancy Robins

  5. Sorry we are unable to attend the ceremony. I’ll always remember you Uncle Bob from your 90th birthday celebration! Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. John Wulf and Family

  6. Dear Marian and Family, Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved father and grandfather.

  7. I wish I had known about the service. Bob was a great guy and a good friend. The Knights of Columbus is interested in the name and address of a next of kin. With sympathy, Peter Andriole, Financial Secretary, St. Luke Council 11122

  8. My condolences to the family of Robert Wulf. I apologize for using this time to get information about Priscilla. I’m sorry to say that I lost touch with her when she moved to Midlothian, Va. to live with her daughter. She was very kind to me during a difficult time in my life and I have often thought of her thru the years.
