Bob and I were cube-mates at MCB Quantico in the early 90’s. He was a great guy and always had food in his refrigerator in the cube to share with whoever happened to visit. He was fond of regaling listeners with his stories of living in Saudia Arabia and flying airplanes over there. He will surely be missed by his many friends.
Bob was a long time co-worker and valued friend. His contributions to supporting Marine Corps mechanics by acquiring Tools & Test Equipment was unsurpassed. His knowledge, skill, and experience as well as his stories of his travels and other work experiences were legend within our office! He is remembered well by all who had the pleasure to work with him.
Bob Snyder was a major mentor during my transition from active military services as a Marine and then to a government contractor for TMDE. Bob was always there for me when I needed assistance and guidance on any project. Our history dates back to around 1999 when he was replacing dynamometers at 2nd GSM Company and I was a Gunny. Bob will be truly missed. God Bless
Bob Snyder was a easy person to work with. He loved working with the Marines. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him. He will truly be missed. My prayers go out to his wife and family.
Bob, thank you for your wisdom when I was having surgery and your encouragement.. You will be missed. God Bless

Rest in Peace Bob. You will be missed.
Bob Snyder was an institution. He gave a damn about Marines and what they needed to do their jobs and come home safely to their families. He taught me a lot, supported me continually, and made me feel like a part of the team. He was a gentleman, a good friend, had a great sense of humor, and I shall miss him deeply. My wife Patricia and I offer our deepest condolences to Bombi and the family. Bob was…Semper Fi!
Bob was one of a kind and will be missed by all, his dedication to the Marine Corps will live on forever.
My memories of Bob will always be filled with wonderment, of how much a man can do in one life. Always ready to help others, Bob made it a point to make his efforts at work and home count for something. I think we all carry a little piece of Bob forward in our lives, and it is a good thing! We will all miss you.
As a neighbor, Bob was the best. Always to help and give good advice. He loved his animals; he was dedicated to Bombi and his cats; he spent his time at home doing any “fix” to the house, garage. Never idle. We will miss you on our trips North. Peace be with you.
Our prayers & condolences goes out to the entire family. We were so saddened to head of your lost. He is in good hands with our lord now where he will watch over you & continue to live through you in spirit. Love, The Prue Family
Our Condolences and Prayers goes out to the entire family. Remembering you BOB in our minds and in our hearts. With thoughts of peace and courage. We will miss you BOB. Peace, Prayers and Blessings, Mandehzadeh Family
I worked with Bob for three years while stationed at Quantico. He was smart, witty and always genuinely cared for the welfare of Marines. My sincerest sympathy goes out to all the family. Bob will definitely be missed.
I had the pleasure of working with Bob in the 80s at I&L Rosslyn. A great guy who always was upbeat and ready to share. I remember going with him to Crystal City where Hernani worked to have lunch and talk with her. He did his job well and with passion.
Bob and I shared an office at HQMC I&L Rosslyn in the 80’s and I also worked for him on one of his Home Building projects. As a co-worker and employer, Bob was quite the character and had a great sense of humor. Always willing to lend a hand or give a lesson on a new piece of equipment or machinery. Rest In Peace old Friend, you will be Missed!
I have all good memories of Bob and all the stories I have heard from him and about him throughout the years. I know he will be missed by many, but also remembered by just as many. God Bless him and give his family the strength to move on from this hard time in their life. S/F Jim Vasil
