Robert E. Everett, 91, of Vienna, Va, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Bob was born in Athens, PA and grew up in Waverly, NY. He joined the Navy at age 18 and served in the South Pacific on the USS Miami as a Signalman during World War II. After leaving the Navy, he moved to Washington, DC where he met and married his wife of 62 years. He spent his 38 year career with C&P Telephone Company. Bob is survived by his wife, Joan; three children, Dave Everett, Carol (Casey) Samson and Kim (Drew) Micklus and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5th at 11:00 AM at Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

What wonderful memories we have of Uncle Bob and the entire Everett family – visits to Vienna with Grandma & Grandpa, your home as our sightseeing base as we tour DC, your family visits to Waverly, small town fun @ Fraley’s Park, Taughannock Park picnics, etc… Our hearts go out to all: Aunt Joan, Dave, Carol, Kim and your families.
