Robert R. "Bob" Conaway, age 85, of Greenspring Village, Springfield, Virginia died on December 3, 2012. Beloved husband of 63 years of Tek Conaway; father of Drew Conaway (Michelle) and Brian Conaway (Bonnie) and brother of Betty Marquis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the INOVA Healthcare Foundation, 8110 Gatehouse Road, Suite 200, Falls Church, Virginia 22042.

So many memories. So much laughter. Bob had the best laugh and twinkle in those eyes. Thanks for so many memories. Parties, theatre, my backyard pool, picnics. Not everyone has had so many friends as Tek and Bob. Awsome couple. As Bob Hope used to say – THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

Oh! I am so sad. I just opened your card, Teke. I cannot believe it either. What an exuberant and amazing friend was Bob. My parents adored him and he adored them ( as you well know!). It is hard to believe he is gone. I bet he us up in heaven reorganizing and getting the place in shape… adding a few touches of macrame here and there.. I will always remember his smile, his warmth and his wonderful sense of humor. my deepest condolences to you, the girl of his dreams and his everything… and to your extended family too. Do you think they are in heaven partying right now… Jean and eddie and the whole gang…
